Unfortunately, I was sick for the majority of Christmas break, however those days that I felt well were loaded with fun. My family and I had a wonderful Christmas Eve and day filled with presents, music, and of course, food. Later in the day, all of my family came over my house to eat and exchange gifts to one another.
A few days later, I had to get my four wisdom teeth removed (I know, ouch). It actually wasn’t too bad though- it was quick and because of the “laughing gas” and numbing, it was pretty painless. It was very difficult to eat however, and lived off of soup and oatmeal for about a week.
Then New Years came and I was feeling great (I was no longer sick and my mouth was all healed). I spent New Years Eve at one of my friend’s house with her family and a bunch of other friends. It was nice to start the New Year with some of the closest people in my life. New Years Day I spent with my family at my grandparents house, eating a bunch of food the entire day (Italian family…self-explanatory).
For the last few days of break I spent seeing my friends and going on random adventures. It was a lovely 16 days and cannot wait for my next school break.
